Originally scheduled for January, Samsung’s much awaited Galaxy S25 and S25+ are now under regulatory clearance all around. Under this approach, the 3C certification in China has shed some light on these gadgets’ charging capacity.
Fascinatingly, the certification indicates that the Galaxy S25 and S25+ will keep the same maximum charging rates as their predecessors. Both utilizing USB-C, the Galaxy S25 will enable charging up to 25W while the Galaxy S25+ will reach up to 45W. Regarding wireless charging, the 3C certification has not yet offered any specifics so we will have to be tuned for additional updates on that front.
This most recent disclosure adds to the number of places Samsung seems to be adopting a more cautious approach with regard to its flagship series. Though rumors indicate that the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE and Tab S10 series might be shown next week providing fans with more intriguing alternatives to look forward, this is not the only Samsung news item creating excitement recently.
Given that their appearance seems quite identical to the Galaxy S24 and S24+, overall, the Galaxy S25 and S25+ seem to be emphasizing honing current features rather than bringing significant advancements. Right now, it seems Samsung is choosing minor improvements over a complete makeover for its flagship range.
