Redmi Note 14 Pro+ Makes Its Debut on AnTuTu’s September Chart

AnTuTu publishes two rankings at the beginning of the month depending on the success of the previous one. While the other chart emphasises upper-middle range devices, one shows the best-performing flagship phones. Let’s review how things turned out in September’s rankings since October is here.

Once again, the Red Magic 9S Pro+ maintains its top position in the flagship category; the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro ascended to take second place. Redmi K70, iQOO Neo9S Pro+, iQOO Z9 Turbo+, iQOO 12, vivo X100, OnePlus 12, and OnePlus Ace 3 Pro follow.

The vivo X100 Ultra and X100 Pro have slipped out of the Top 10 relative to August, freeing space for the iQOO Z9 Turbo+ and iQOO 12. Especially lacking in this month’s ranking are any Oppo or Xiaomi flagship smartphones, suggesting that these companies may not be giving performance optimisation in benchmarks like AnTu top priority.

Though this may change once the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 and Dimensity 9400 are unveiled later this month, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Version still rules the top smartphones. Six of the Top 10 smartphones right now run on Snapdragon 8 Gen 3; the other four run on Dimensity 9300 or 9300+ chipsets.

The OnePlus Ace 3V maintains its dominance in the upper-midrange class; closely behind are the Realme GT Neo6 SE and Redmi K70E. With the Realme GT Neo5 SE, Redmi Note 12 Turbo, iQOO Z8, and iQOO Neo7 SE keeping their places, the remaining top seven match last month’s list exactly. Still, some shifts happened in the last three places. The iQOO Z9 came ninth, the Redmi Note 12T Pro rose to eighth, while the recently introduced Redmi Note 14 Pro+ landed tenth.

Under this category, the dominating chipset still is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3, running the top two smartphones. Thirdly ranked and its closest rival is the Dimensity 8300-Ultra. Older chipsets unable to compete the top performances lag behind: the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2, Dimensity 8200, Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, and Snapdragon 7s Gen 3.

These AnTuTu charts only show devices that have been tested at least 1,000 times; they represent the average scores of each model in September based on data from China.
